Soft yet crispy homemade pizza dough topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, ham, mushrooms, and garlic-parsley seasoning. The dough makes two balls, one of which can be frozen.

    Mix half of the flour with the salt, then pour the yeast and sugar into a well before adding the water and stirring until you have a foamy, sticky mixture.

    Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes.

    Add the remaining flour and a little olive oil, then mix until the dough starts to come together.

    Knead the dough until smooth and pliable, adding olive oil if necessary to prevent it from sticking.

    Place the dough in a little olive oil and let it rest at room temperature for about 1 hour, until doubled in volume.

    Punch down the dough, divide it into two dough balls, and freeze one of them if desired.

    Punch down the dough ball again and stretch it out by hand on a little fine semolina.
