Terms of service and sale
The rules that apply when you use RecetteClic. We try to keep them readable.
These Terms of Service and Sale (the "Terms") govern access to the recetteclic.app website and the RecetteClic mobile application (together, the "Service") operated by Florian Francese, a French sole proprietor trading under the business name mf2n.dev ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or downloading the application, you ("User") fully accept these Terms.
1Purpose of the Service
RecetteClic is a smart recipe notebook. The Service allows you to:
- Import a recipe from a web link, a TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest or Facebook video, or a photo, using an AI system that extracts ingredients and steps.
- Store, organize, search and edit your recipes in a personal notebook synced across your devices.
- Access a full-screen cooking mode with built-in timers.
- Optionally publish your recipes to a community of users.
The Service is provided "as is". AI extraction results depend on the quality of the source; we do not guarantee the absolute accuracy of any extracted field. It is your responsibility to verify and correct recipes before cooking.
2Eligibility and user account
The Service is reserved for natural persons aged at least fifteen (15), in line with article 7-1 of the French Data Protection Act setting the digital age of consent. If you are under 15, you must first obtain authorization from your parent or legal guardian.
Creating an account requires a valid email address or authentication via Apple or Google. You warrant the accuracy of the information you provide and undertake to keep it up to date.
You are solely responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials. Any action performed from your account is deemed to have been performed by you. Notify us immediately at hello@recetteclic.app of any unauthorized use.
3Subscription and prices
Access to the main features of the Service requires a paid subscription. Available plans:
| Plan | Price (incl. tax) | Free trial |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | €6.99 / month | 14 days free |
| Annual | €59.99 / year (i.e. −28% vs. monthly) | 14 days free |
Prices are stated in euros, all taxes included. Since Florian Francese operates under the French VAT exemption regime (art. 293 B of the French General Tax Code), no VAT applies. Purchases are made via Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), which may charge a commission and apply their own currency conversion.
Free trial
A 14-day free trial is offered with your first subscription. No payment is taken during this period. You may cancel at any time within the 14 days from your App Store or Google Play settings, at no cost.
Auto-renewal
At the end of the trial period, or at the end of each subscription period, your subscription automatically renews for an identical period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end date. The amount is charged to the payment method registered with Apple or Google.
How to cancel
- On iPhone / iPad: Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions → RecetteClic → Cancel subscription.
- On Android: Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → RecetteClic → Cancel.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep access until that date.
4Right of withdrawal
Pursuant to articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from subscription start to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to justify any reason.
By activating the Service immediately (in particular by making your first AI import), you expressly request performance of the contract before expiry of the withdrawal period and acknowledge losing your right of withdrawal pursuant to article L. 221-28, 13° of the French Consumer Code (digital content not supplied on a tangible medium).
If you have not used any paid feature during these 14 days, you may request a refund by writing to hello@recetteclic.app. For store-side refunds, see our Refund policy.
5Use of artificial intelligence
Pursuant to article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 ("AI Act") and applicable transparency requirements, we inform you that:
- Recipe extraction and structuring use generative AI models provided by third parties (in particular OpenAI Inc. and Anthropic PBC).
- Recipes thus generated are identified in the application by a "Structured by AI" badge visible on each recipe.
- You remain responsible for the content you choose to publish in the community. You validate the extraction before publishing.
- AI may produce errors (incorrect quantities, missing steps, undetected allergens). We accept no liability for any culinary preparation performed without verification.
Our AI subprocessors are described in detail in the Privacy policy.
6Your content
You retain all rights over the recipes you import and create. The Service claims no ownership over this content.
By choosing to publish a recipe to the community (an explicit action on your part), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, terminable-at-any-time licence (by unpublishing the recipe) to host, reproduce, translate, adapt format and publicly display this recipe within the Service. This licence ends when you unpublish or delete the recipe.
We systematically credit the original source of an imported recipe (creator, platform, URL). If you believe your work is being used without authorization, write to hello@recetteclic.app: we handle requests within 48 business hours.
7Prohibited conduct
You undertake not to use the Service to:
- Publish illegal, defamatory, insulting, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit content, or content glorifying violence or violating human dignity.
- Import copyrighted content without authorization, or circumvent technical protections of source platforms.
- Attempt to access accounts or data you are not entitled to, or compromise the security of the Service.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) for unauthorized purposes.
- Distribute malware, spam, chain messages or fraud.
We may remove content, suspend or terminate an account that breaches these rules, without notice and without refund, depending on severity.
8Warranties and limitation of liability
We do our best to ensure availability, security and quality of the Service. Nevertheless, the Service is provided "as is", without warranty of being error-free, continuous or fit for any particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We accept no liability for: (a) any culinary preparation made on the basis of an AI-generated recipe without verification on your part; (b) any indirect damages (data loss, loss of profit, reputational harm); (c) any interruption due to force majeure, failure of a subprocessor (Apple, Google, OpenAI, Hostinger, etc.) or your internet service provider.
In any event, within the limits permitted by French law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you over the twelve months preceding the triggering event.
The above limitations do not apply in case of fraud, gross negligence, or for bodily injury, in accordance with French case law.
9Changes
We may amend these Terms to adapt to changes in the Service, regulations or our practices. Material changes (in particular price changes or substantial commitments) will be notified to you by email and/or in-app notification at least thirty (30) days before they take effect. You may then terminate at no cost if you do not accept the new conditions.
10Termination and account deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the application (Settings → Sensitive zone → Delete my account). This deletion results in:
- Immediate archival of your account (soft-delete).
- Effective deletion of your data within thirty (30) days.
- Erasure of all your private recipes. Recipes published in the community remain published but are anonymized ("Author deleted"), unless you request full deletion at privacy@recetteclic.app.
- Stopping the renewal of your subscription (also to be done on the store side).
We reserve the right to terminate an account in case of serious breach of these Terms or of the law.
11Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will, after attempts at amicable settlement and mediation (see Legal notice), be submitted to the competent French courts. For consumers within the meaning of the French Consumer Code, the mandatory protective rules of your country of residence in the European Union apply.
